RSD Foundation Welcomes the EU Ambassador and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Yemen
RSD Foundation welcomed Patrick Simonnet, EU Ambassador to Yemen, and Jeannette Seppen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Yemen, during a visit to the Foundation's office aimed at learning more about its programs and activities, as well as discussing the outcomes of the "Improved Protection for Internally Displaced Persons in Al-Jawf and Marib" project, implemented with the support of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and jointly funded by the European Union and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Yemen.
During the visit, the Foundation presented its vision, mission, strategic objectives, and key programs, highlighting its work in human rights, protection, sustainable development, and capacity strengthening for local civil society organizations.
The project team also presented the project's key achievements and discussed the challenges encountered during field implementation in Al-Jawf and Marib. The meeting further addressed the human rights situation and the humanitarian challenges facing internally displaced persons, particularly in Al-Rayyan, Khab Al-Sha'af District, Al-Jawf Governorate, where displaced communities continue to face significant humanitarian needs and limited access to essential services.

The visit reflects the Foundation's commitment to engaging with international partners and sharing field-based experiences that contribute to informed dialogue on human rights, humanitarian response, and the protection needs of internally displaced persons in Yemen.
